You can also add modifiers that make the game more adjusted to your current skill. ![]() You really should look into your hardware, because bad tracking will likely make Beat Saber really hard to play. >due to lucridous difficulty even on the easiest modes It's certainly not a generic Beat Saber thing. That might rather be a hardware issue on your side and may also persist in other games like PW. >highly glitchy and unresponsive controls The only thing I really miss in Pistolwhip are custom songs, but the 25 maps currently in the game are good fun if you like the music they have. There are only built in maps and those come in 3 difficulties and there are some modifier that allow you to make it even more difficult. I like Pistolwhip because I can still fail but it feel pretty fair. Beatsaber is fun but the difficulty on most custom maps is just too much for me and I don't like disabling the fail state. I like both games so not sure I would suggest refunding one for the other for that reason. You can still fail a map but that is tied to a health system and not how well you shoot, but how well you dodge. ![]() And once you really get good at shooting on the beat it feels great. So I like that this game is pretty forgiving, but still give a lot of opportunity for improvement. I have beat every map on hard just not with the best scores. ![]() When it comes to difficulty, this game is really easy to get in to, but ( for me ) hard to master. And if you can't fix it before your 2h of playtime then get a refund as you might not keep playing a game that doesn't play well and might not be willing spend time fixing it. But if it is a real problem for you in Beatsaber I would suggest trying to figure out why. So not sure switching to this game would fix that. I am not sure if the unresponsiveness is actually a beatsaber problem as the game itself is not too intensive.
